  • P9X79 PRO and F3-19200CL10Q2-64GBZHD problems

Hi, have Asus P9X79 PRO with latest BIOS , 4960X and F3-19200CL10Q2-64GBZHD memory kit. Asus site lists in QVL a very similar kit, F3-19200CL10Q-64GBZHD , and i didn't notice thar "2" in a part number and bought the F3-19200CL10Q2-64GBZHD, thinking it's on QVL list. Now the problems started showing up... When enabling XMP, no matter profile 1 or profile 2, the mobo recognizes only half of memory installed. So i switched to manual mode, set all the timings manually, set dram voltage to 1.65. Still 32gb only at 2400MHz. Tried also 2333, 2133, 2000 NHz, and only at 1866 the board recognized all 64 gb. So i started playing with voltages. I was able to get the board recognize all 64gb with VCCSA at 1.4v, and dram speed 2133. Is it safe to stick with this settings? Is there any way to tweak the board to get 64gb @ 2400 MHz? And what is the difference between F3-19200CL10Q2-64GBZHD and F3-19200CL10Q-64GBZHD?

Very strange, that VCCSA Voltage is high. What does it show in EFI for XMP Profile?

Test each 2 or 4 modules at a time to see if they can all do DDR3-2400

    Let us know the result

    Thank you
