[SOLVED] CPU-Z reports 667MHz on F3-10600CL9D-2GBNQ?
[SOLVED] CPU-Z reports 667MHz on F3-10600CL9D-2GBNQ?
Is this correct? I changed the the BIOS "Auto" setting to DDR-1333, but no change. CPU is Q9450, and motherboard is Asus P5K64 WS. FSB is set to 333MHz, and CPU multiplier to 8.
yea your F3-10600CL9D-2GBNQ, are specified to run at 1333Mhz.
and given its dual channel (or some reason similar) you times the number cpuz gives by 2 to find the effectual bandwidth. 667x2 = 1333 Mhz.
in the bios it may show somewhere your effectual CPU speed which would be 333 FSB x 8 = 2664 Mhz
and the Ram : Fsb divider (ratio) set to auto is something like 2 : 1 which gives ur ram the 667 shown in cpuz. (but as mentioned above that actually gives 1333)
