  • DDR PC-3200 Frequency problem

How do I get the PC3200 memory to 400 MHz or 200 MHz according to CPU-Z?

    I have an ASRock motherboard 775i65G rev G/A 2.04 BIOS revision P3.30
The CPU is an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 FSB of 1064 MHz with a 266 MHz bus.

    The memory is two G.Skill F1-3200PHU2-2GBNS DDR 1 GB PC-3200 CL2.5-3-3-6 2.6V-2.7V

According to CPU-Z the memory is running at 177.3 MHz with FSBRAM of 3:2

In the BIOS I can adjust the DRAM:
    CAS# latency(CL)
    RAS# to CAS# Delay(tRCD)
    RAS# Precharge(tRP)
    Xycle Time - Precharge Delay(tRAS)
    Burst Length
I can not adjust in the BIOS the Frequency and FSBRAM ratio.

Also, in the BIOS the Voltages: VCCM +2.7V and VDDQ +1.58V can be set to High, Low, or Auto.

I tried increasing the bus to 300 MHz but the computer does not start correctly.
The highest I could go was 275 MHz.

If you can not adjust DRAM Frequency, there's not much you can do.

    Thank you
