  • [SOLVED]Blue Screen G.SKILL F2-8500CL5D-2GBPK + GA-MA78G-DS3H

Ok just after installing vista like 30 minutes later i got my first blue screen. its coming up as page fault in non paged area, and getting this stop message :

    STOP: 0x00000050 (0xBFC7959E, 0x00000001, 0x82238389, 0x00000002)

i looked up on the internet and it said it was a memory issue. how can i resolve this?

    i have a RAIDMAX SMILODON Extreme Black ATX-612WEBP case, GIGABYTE GA-MA78G-DS3H AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard, running Windows Vista x32 bit, and G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

    so, what's your CPU model?
and did you add memory and nb voltage yet?
please try to add the memory voltage to 2.1v first
    thanks

        btw i have a AMD Phenom 8450 Toliman 2.1GHz 3 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 95W Triple-Core Processor, an a Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive if u needed to know, an i just built it all.

i went into the BIOs an found where to change it but it only shows like normal, 0.1v, 0.2v, etc.. but nothing up to 2.0 volts or higher

          the standard voltage for DDR2 is 1.8v, +0.1v means 1.9v, then +0.3v means 2.1v
for the nb voltage, it should be set to about +0.2v-+0.3v
          thanks
