I am having troubles getting this ram to work at 1066mhz on my abit ax78 , no matter what settings i've tried, i must be doing something wrong.

any help would be appreciated

have you increase the voltage to 1.9v on bios?
how about DDR2 800, is that working and stable? just want to make sure memory is good to run

Yes, the machine runs fine at DDR800mhz 5-5-5-15 1T

and yes, i have tried 1.9v and even 2.0v

it should be set to 2T
and which CPU you are using? Is it overclocked?
try to add the nb voltage

I am using a AMD Phenom 9850BE at stock speeds
all voltage settings are at defaults apart from the ddr2 voltage which i set to 2.0v
i have tried running at 5-5-5-15 2T and it dosen't boot or fails to get past the post screen.

there are alot of advanced memory timing options displayed in this BIOS as well, are there any others that I need to change

which ones inparticular are 5-5-5-15?

5-5-5-15 is by order tCL-tRCD-tRP-tAS
and for other sub-timings, you can keep them default
and remember to add the nb voltage to run DDR2 1066

I'm running it now at ddr2 800 4-4-4-12 1T. gave up on the 1066
