    i don;t know where to begin, since Intel recall there sandy Bridge chip what going to happen to all those guy that purchase Intel board that support those chip is g-skill also in the mix as other manufacturer any suggestion and comment out there.

    If you have issues with a P67 platform, the first thing to do is completely clear the CMOS via CLRTC pins or button.

    Earlier revisions will have the jumper pins, newer ones will have the button. Refer to your motherboard user's manual if you are unsure where. Once complete, try inputting settings or enable XMP and try again.

    The Sandybridge issue can be very annoying. It can cause all types of issues even with regards to memory. Some people have to boot with one module, some people can only operate DDR3-1333, and more.

    Just like any other computer build, if you have a problem, here are the procedures you should follow to test memory.

    Install one memory in the initial slot A1, DIMM1, however it is noted for your motherboard.

    POST and then enter BIOS to input settings for the memory you purchased.

    Boot up to see if your OS is stable (if you have one). If not, use memtest86+ to diagnose the memory.

    If that module is OK, try the other one with the same procedure above.

    If both test fine alone, test them in the dual channel slots.

    They should work fine, if not, create a thread and we can help you.

        before I drop this issue and move on here is some interesting tip bit from newegg
