    i have 2 x 2gb 10666 (1333MHz) DDR3 G.Skill ram (7-7-7-18 Latency). and i am using a this ram on ECS A790GXM-AD3 motherboard. i am using windows 7 (7100 Build).
When i check out the specs of my ram in CPU-Z, it says that my ram is working at 533MHz. I dont understand the problem.can someone plz give a solution in detail

sorry, but we can't see your screenshots
it needs to register to see
and what you see should mean it runs at DDR3 1066(you have to double 533 yourself)
to run at DDR3 1333 7-7-7-18, you have to set it manually in BIOS, or it may only run DDR3 1066 7-7-7-18
    thanks

you need to manually set the speed, timing, and voltage of memory in motherboard bios. please make sure you set the timing at CAS7-TRP7-TRCD7-TRAS18, memory speed at DDR3 10666, and voltage of memory to 1.6v. Please also check with your motherboard user manual

I'm resurrecting an old thread here, but I tried these sticks at 7-7-7-18 and 1.6v on an ASUS M4A78T-E (BIOS 1402) with a Phenom II x3 720BE CPU, and got non-stop errors in Memtest86+. According to the ASUS QVL, as well as this thread, these timings should have worked.

I set the memory timings to 8-8-8-21. Voltage is 1.6v, via the Auto setting in BIOS. No errors reported in several iterations of Memtest86+. The default (and Auto) timings in BIOS for this RAM are CL9, so they have to be manually adjusted.
