  • Did I make a mistake? F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL

Should have known better than to buy the memory before anything else including the motherboard, but I could'nt resist the price!

    I bought G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL. Retailer did not identify, as the package did, that it's designed for LGA1156 mobos.

My question is, could I use the memory on an LGA1366 board? Will it work or just not Post? I'm thinking of an ASUS P6X58D Premium. I love those red heatsinks and would hate to have to RMA it back to the seller!

They will work fine as long as the mobo you select supports dual channel, may want to check their QVL and ensure they do support dual channel and 4GB DIMMs

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

It will work fine, the motherboard can support dual channel. It just may be a tiny hassle to add more memory in the future, getting compatible kits and such..

      Thank you
