  • F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ with GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-S2H

I've bought this memory for backup for later, and just put it in my motherboard. It's only letting it boot with one memory stick in one of the slots, but not both. I can use either stick, but it can't use dual channel without a post error.

I've also updated to the latest BIOS for the motherboard, but that didn't help. Is there anything I can do? Thanks.

try to install one stick and add the memory voltage to 1.9v and turn off
then install both sticks and boot to see if there is still error
