  • Duel-Channle vs Tri- channel Revisit/A post by vwilson

My main reason to revisit this post is that it was sort of confusing and a real eye opener. I had no idea that triple channel is no better then Duel channel, According by a post by TRADESMAN:( At this point in time though. I feel it's more of a marketing ploy then a true technical advance for the current lineups of CPU. AMD can't handle it and in what testing I've done and seen tri channel show no market increase in overall speed/bandwidth than dual channel, in fact, duel channel will often outrun tri channel)
    A Very,very interesting post

To see the whole thread, you can go to:

    http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthrea...=7589#post7589

Which will put things into a little better perspective, though it was more applicable at the time, which was about a year and a half ago (Mar 2009), when DDR3 was quite a bit newer, and the mobo's using it were more immature. When looking at tech advances many are quick snap immediately better, others take time to mature, as with DDR3 and triple channel.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
