Hi,
After 4 years of service, one of my F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ stick decided to quit doing a great job. After a lot of random crashes, I finally discovered that one of the two stick reported errors in memtest86+ (test 8 to be precise).
I tested that stick on another computer with a different motherboard and the same results occurs.
The DDR is running at 250MHz with 3-4-4-8 2.6V.
Could it be just a timing problem? I guess not but just in case here is my complete settings:
CAS latency Tcl : 3
Min RAS active time Tras : 8T
RAS to CAS delay Trcd : 4T
Row precharge time Trp : 4T
Row cycle time Trc : 16T
Row refresh cyc time Trfc : 18T
Read-to-write time Trwt : 6T
Write recovery time Twr : 2T
1T/2T Memory Timing : 1T
In case I need an RMA, I have a simple question. This product is discontinued so, with what kind of DDR will it be replaced (if the RMA is accepted of course)? The 250MHz capability is vital for me as well as the 2GB are.
