F2-6400CL5D-2GBPQ Query.

Hi ,


I am planning to go for F2-6400CL5D-2GBPQ modules. A couple of doubts I wanted to clarify before I buy them;

1.(This question is a bit noobish) On the website page for F2-6400CL5D-2GBPQ, under "Specification" it says- "Main Board" = Intel.

Will there be any compatibility issues with an AMD motherboard?



2. Now for the more important question; these modules come in two packages,
One is F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ (2*2GB) 4GB KIT.
And the other is the separate modules F2-6400CL5D-2GBPQ of 2GB.

My local vendor doesn't have the 4GB KIT, so can I opt for two 2GBPQ & run them in dual -channel?
Will I have dual-channel compatibility issues if they are not purchased as a KIT?

sorry, but we assume it should be F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ
and what motherboard you wil use?
noramlly, it would not have compatible issue on AMD platform

for the single channel packed memory, we can't guarantee if it could run with another, 'coz we didn't test them in pair

My vendor can get me the F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ, so I'll go for those.

I'm planning to use them with a 780G/790GX board.(Gigabyte/Biostar)
