  • Mem for Dell XPS630

Sapposed to be getting a Dell xps630 today. After seeing other posts on it on some other forums i think i made a mistake. Will have to upgrade the motherboard to a 750I or a 780I for my needs. For the time being i ordered the pc with only 2 gig of ram becouse it is cheaper to get more mem off of Newegg then upgrade from dell. Looking at getting 4 gigs of 1066 so that way i would beable to use it later on another mobo. Will this work right for the time being?

      Instead of getting 4 sticks of - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066. I went ahead and ordered 2 sets of G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory.

it's the issue about 4 sticks, not the DRAM speed
the memory controller of nv n650/680i chipset has problem with 4 sticks of memory
        thanks
