  • F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK / GA-EP45-DS3R problems @ 1066

model of the motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R
    model of the memory:F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK problems
model of the CPU: Intel E8500

Problem : no boot at 1066 MHz.

The mother board refuses to boot with default settings (FSB 333) with dual channel.

It's Ok with just one of the module at 1066 (no matter the module no matter the slot). It's OK with the two modules on slot1 and 2 or slot 3 and 4.

It's KO for modules in slot 1-3 or 2-4 (dual channel).

The voltage has been set from 2.0 upto 2.12v.

All is OK at 800 Mhz.

Can you precise me all settings in bios for the DRAM in order to run at 1066?

Thanks a lot for our help.

if it still can't work with this setting, please send back to us for RMA
we'll have to test to find out the problem
        thanks

he motherboard has been already changed and this memory has been changed too. So, before sending back again to you this memory for the second time, can you advise me all the dram settings in the bios of the motherboard.

I have paid enough for transport and i would like to be sure i have done all the tests before paying again for sending it back to you.

Another way would be you send me another package of memory. I make a commitment to send back you the failing memory. But I'anm making a dream.....

we do test it with the BIOS setting in the document
and there is no other special settings to make it run at our rated speed
or you could try different version of BIOS to see if it works
            thanks
