  • Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R memory

    This is my current rig:

    Cpu: Intel C2D E6600 2.4
    MoBo: GA-P35-DS3R v.1
    Psu: Mushkin Advanced 580w
    VGA: EVGA 8800 GTS 640
    OS: XP sp3

I had two 1 Gb's sticks of your F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ product for 17 months. Both died and are currently being sent to you on RMA. I was very happy with their performance and understand that D9 chips have a short lifespan. I would like to upgrade to 4 Gb's total. Should I buy another set of F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ to give me four 1 Gb's? Or, should I buy one of your new four Gb's sets(2Gbs x 2)? I cannot tell from your website which 6400 speed memory sticks are your best product. Are my current sticks with the D9 chip the best 6400 units you have? Or, would you recommend another unit? You have my specs so hopefully you can tell me which product is the best and the best fit for me. Thanks!

for 4 GB memory, we'd recommend you to choose 2*2GB memory
'coz not every 2 pairs of 1GB memories could work together
    you could choose F2-6400CL4D-4GBPI-B
    thanks
