Can anyone tell me why this particular model is so expensive as compared to other G.Skill products? Is this the only model with Micron D9 chips? I'm reviewing other models at the PC 8500 speed with four Gbs and they are all significantly less expensive. Also, the F2-6400CL4D-4GBPI-B model has about the same cas latency and timing with lower volts and it is even less expensive than my current sticks. Twice as much memory with a faster speed with the same cas latency...I don't understand. If it is based solely on the Micron D9 chips, then how do we find out what other G.Skill memory sticks have this chip in it?

yes, it is Micron D9 chip
and it has been out of stock for a long time, so the price would depends on the price we bought
comparing to our recent models, it would be more expensive, because DRAM price droped a lot this year
and for the other models, we can't tell what chip is used, but they are surely not Micron D9 chips
thanks
