GA-EP45-UD3P and and F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
I am trying to install 8GB (4 x 2GB) of F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK in a Gigabyte MoBo GA-EP45-UD3P. CPU is Intel Q660 2.4Ghz and PSU is Antec EA-500D 500W.
I am having a problem with this memory. It can only run in single channel in the slots DDR2_3 and/or DDR2_4. Every time I place them in DDR2_1 and/or DDR2_2, I cannot boot (I get continous short beeps). I tried to increase FSB voltage to 1.5V and DRAM voltage to 2.1V (trying up to 2.27V) without any success....
I tried to check if my MoBo had any short, but results are still the same.
Is there any way to install 8GB of this memory in this Gigabyte board?
