new boards not listed, what ram?

Gonna be running a Phenom 2 x 4 965 AMD on one of 2 boards, as follows;

1. Gigabyte GA770TA-UD3. or

2. Asus M4A89 CTD Pro.

What ram would I need? I would maybe do a mild overclock, nothing too radical.
Please help!

Any DDR3 below DDR3-2000 should work just fine. If you are choosing between motherboards, I would suggest the newer chipset.

Which?

I don't know which has the newer chipset, both boards have support for USB 3 and SATA 6, so I thot both would have a new chipset. IYO, which to choose?
