Pc2-6400?

I didnt have any problem setting up my 4 gigs of PC2-8500 to run at 1066 when i changed it in my bios from 800 to 1066.My question is,when i run several different programs such as sisoftsandra,cpuid and Everest,it comes up as PC2-6400(400mhz)


Asus M3N72-D Motherboard
AMD 9950BE CPU
F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK Memory

it's normal
it depends on the SPD value
and because of JEDEC standard, it would be only up to PC2 6400
but it doesn't affect the spec we guaranteed
