I started having crashes the past few days with my G.Skill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK memory on my MSI DKA790GX Platinum board with a Phenom 9950. Then last night, my computer crashed and wouldn't restart. I went down to 1 stick of memory and still no start. I then swapped sticks and the computer booted up fine. When I tried to put the second stick back in, I again couldn't boot. To rule out the board or the CPU, I installed four sticks of Kingston and they work fine so one of my two G.Skill sticks is definitely toast. My problem is I went to do an RMA and the form states you must send back the original packaging which I foolishly tossed. I've had the memory less than two months. Is there any way around this and if there is, should I send both sticks back or just the bad one?
