  • Titan 256 GB Performing Poorly

I purchased this hard drive about 1 year ago and after a few months of use it starts performing slowly.
I normally just format and reinstall Windows to resolve the problem but that is getting old.
Currently I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
Over the past couple weeks about 50% of the time when I start Windows up, programs take a very long time to load, this includes just opening folders within Windows.
I'll restart the computer when it is running poorly and then it seems fine.

I'm really disappointed, this drive costed me $550 and there have been no firmware upgrades and that the drive does not support TRIM.

Not sure what my options are here, can the drive be RMA'd and exchanged for better functioning drive/model?
At this point I'm ready to go back to using raptor hard drives.

Is there anything else I should be doing besides formatting every 2-3 months?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Yep - just apply for an RMA.

I just RMA'd a bunch of 256G Titans and was pleasantly surprised when a box of Falcons arrived.
