  • PC2 8500 Asus M3A78 BIOS settings

model of the motherboard: Asus M3A78
    model of the memory: 4 gigs of G.SKILL 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Desktop Memory
model of the CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+
    operating system: Windows XP Pro

I just got this new build going, the CPU is overclocked to 3.1 ghz, and the memory voltage is set to 2.0. Everything is running stable, but the memory is running at 800 mhz instead of 1066. AM BIOS 0703. What are the suggested timing settings? The memory is running in dual-channel and the 4 gigs is recognized.

    Timings table
    Frequency (MHz) 266 400
    CAS# 4.0 5.0
    RAS# to CAS# delay 4 5
    RAS# Precharge 4 5
    TRAS 10 15
    TRC 16 23

you'll need to set the Memory Clock Mode to maual and set it to DDR2 1066, then it would run at DDR2 1066
for the timings, you can set them to 5-5-5-15(CL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS) or just keep them auto
and you may need to add northbridge voltage to run at DDR2 1066
    thanks
