Hi everybody,
I have a big problem with memory. I work with a graphical programing software and I often encounter crashes with different error messages (EInvalidPointer and EAccessViolation). After searching the web I found those messages were linked to bad memory allocation. I tried with each stick one by one but bugs remain, so I don't know if the problem comes from memory or from os/BIOS config.
One point: I kept all default settings in BIOS, except for timing (5-5-5-15 at default whereas memory specs are 4-4-4-12); moreover memtest returns no error.
RAM: F2-6400 cl4d 4x1Go
Motherboard: Asus P5K-SE LGA775 chipset intel P35
CPU: intel core2duo E6750 2,66GHz
OS: XP SP3
Can somebody help me pointing where the trouble comes from?
Thank you very much,
Alex
