BUT hen I have all 8Gb in it doesnt error why is this is there a better way of testing? Maybe a different configuration?

did you run it with 1T?
and are they the same settings between 1 stick and 4 sticks?

thank you for your reply should this set be ran at 1T? the specs say 2T. I will try that with 8GB. Usually when I run any ram, especially 8GB it doesnt work correctly.

i used the exact same settings for both sets weither using 1 2 or 4 sticks. 5-5-5-15-2T 2.0v

I have also tried 2.1 volts

Yesterday I let the comp sit over night testing just 4GB of ram both kits ran for 6 hours no errors.

ok just tried 1T command rate with one stick at a time and at DDR1000 it would not post
but a DDR800 it did post and every stick passed memtest so one stick at a time will pass memtest. I also tried one kit (2x2GB) and sam thing at DDR1000 and 1T no post. Then I set the ram to DDR800 and it would post I ran memtest and no errors.

I decided to play Farcry 2 and it ran for about an hour till I got the nvlddmmkm.sys blue screen so now im back where I started lol

          Anymore ideas?

Is there a special configuration to get 8GB of the ram to run on a 780i Sli A2 motherboard?

our rated spec is 2T, not 1T, so 1T is not guaranteed by us
and running with 4 sticks, you may need to add FSB volatge to make it stable
              thanks
