  • problem with 8500cl5d 2gbpk & asus p5 qlpro

    first , my english is very bad
    my mother board is asus p5ql pro
    my cpu is intel e8400
    my ram is g skill F2-8500CL5D-2GBPK- 1066MHz - DDR2
    this ram is not work in 1066 , and my computer is not boot in this bus,
    i set manualy , 1066 & 2.1v & 5-5-5-15 but this is not work
    when i set in bios in 800 it's work ,
    my bios is update . plz help me, why i cant work with this ram in bus 1066,
    I trying every thing that yu think but this is not working,

    when freuency of my ram in 1066 , when i turn un the computer, computer hanging in first screen or, come up but its cant gonig to windows and say plz repair ypu windows , whan i going with 800 it's not have any problem

        did you overclock your cpu?
        try to add FSB voltage to 1.4v

          my cpu fsb is 1333,my problem with my ram , my mother board can support 1066 fr but when i set dram fr 1066 , computer can not boot, when i set it 800 it,s work , mu cpu fr more than my ram frequncy.

            did you add fsb voltage to 1.4v?

              no i didn,t change fsb voltage,it's set on defoult setting , i dont change any thing a bout my cpu , i just set my dram fre in 1066 an dram voltage in 2.1

                  my cpu fsb is 1333 with core 45nm , i set fsb voltage to 1.4 but it's not work & i can't go to windows with this voltage

                    standard voltage for my cpu fsb is 1.2 but i change it to 1.4 but it's not work yet

                      my motherboard chipset is p43 & it's support ddr2 1066 but in your site http://gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=313 in Specification list i did not see p43 chipset (M/B Chipset Intel X48,
                      Intel P45,
                      Intel X38,
                      Intel P35,
                      Intel 965,
                      nVidia n6xx I (For Intel series) )
                      maybe my ram it's not work with this motherboard , what do you think?
                      if i can work with this ram and this motherboard please say to me,in asus site i read this ram support 1066 normaly and with overclock 1200

                        we tested on P5QL-E, which is also P43 chipset, and found no issue with this combination

                          i don't know , maybe in that mb it's work but in my mb it's not work , i don't know...plz help me.
                          my ram worked in 800 good but it's not work in 1066 , i can work in 2.3volt in 1066 fr but it's not stable

                            try to test one stick at one time
                            the test result we post is to make you know it's not compatible issue
                            if there is one defective, please RMA with us
