Win 7 tech team for SSD recommend swapfile to stay on SSD for best performance, makes sense seeing as write activity is minimal and read is higher.

I have moved my SWAP file to my Raptor X ( http://images.google.com.au/images?h...-8&sa=N&tab=wi ) and I can literally see that the swap file is not being used 99.5% of the time.

I?m happy to leave my SWAP on a separate drive.

i also think having swap files on seperate drive is a lot better also go to system properties, advanced system settings, under startup and recovery select settings, and under system failure where small memory dump files are i set mine to none, now its not dumming files on my falcon II drive, after a week its still going fine.
