  • Why do i have to overclock my RAM F28000

why is it i have to overclock my F2-8000 RAM. i just bought some lastweek and checked and CPUZ said it was PC 6400 Max Bandwidth.

Make things worse, when i went into the BIOS it nvr had the 1000 option. only 533, 667, 800 and 1066........

You guys need to give more info on the type of boards these type RAM can be used on..... My board says DDR2 1066 support..........

    ASUS AM2+
    AMD Phenom X4
    XP Pro

sorry, as for JEDEC standard, the standard memory is up to DDR2 800
    what're above DDR2 800 are overclocking products
what you see in CPU-Z is our SPD value, not our guaranteed spec
for AM2 platform, you'll have to overclock to run DDR2 1000
