  • Where have all the Falcons gone?

A few months ago, I bought a single 128GB Falcon (FM-25S2S-128GBF1) from Newegg and since then they've slowly disappeared.

I'd like to create a RAID-0 array using these G.Skill drives, but I can't seem to find another Falcon from any reputable retailers or e-tailers.

Does anyone know if these SSD are still being manufactured? If so, are they still sold in the United States?
    ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 Mainboard
    Intel Xeon W3520 (Bloomfield) @ 4.0GHz 24/7
    12 GB G.Skill DDR3 1333 RAM
    128GB G.Skill Falcon SSD w/FW1916 (primary HDD)
1TB Samsung Spinpoint F1 SATA HDD (for data)
2x XFX Radeon HD 4890 in CrossfireX
    Silverstone Strider 850W ATX PSU
    Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
7.1 Windows Experience Index (Primary HDD is lowest score)

Please see the following reply to the thread, "Why are the Falcons disappearing?":

This site still has them in stock if you are from USA or Canada.

Thanks for all the replies. Too bad the price is higher at NCIX - Oh well, it's a sweet drive!

Can we possibly get any updates as to when these might be back on NewEgg? It seems they were the only major e-tailer to sell these drives.

What specifically was the issue with product liability? NewEgg sells other G. Skill stuff right without issues....
