  • F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ + GA-MA785GMT = BSOD @1600 help!

    G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ 2x2gb
Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H (using onboard Radeon HD4200)
AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Hi, can you inform me of a BIOS Configuration Guide in order to run @ 1600 instead of 1333? I will also include this valuable information in my review at newegg.com once everything runs stable @ 1600.

I have already tried a few settings with cool n quiet disabled but get random BSOD's.

    Manual settings of:

    1600
    9-9-9-24 2t
    1.60v
    = BSOD

    1600
    9-9-9-24 2t
    1.65v
    = BSOD

    1600
    10-10-10-30 2t
    1.60v
    = BSOD

I don't know how to tweak with the other settings in the BIOS so I am in need of a BIOS Configuration Guide. Everything runs stable @1333 but many reviews on newegg are stable @1600 for this motherboard and ram.

    Thanks!

A few possibilities, may try raising the tRFC to 195 or so, may need a little extra juice to the CPU, and/or......may have to OC the CPU a tad.

Will want to make sure you have the latest BIOS, input your timings/settings manually and should test each stick with Memtest.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
