  • Help with EVGA 790i SLI Ultra, q9550, F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH

Model of the motherboard: EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI - 132-CK-NF79
    Model of the memory: G.Skill 2x2GB (4GB) -F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH
Model of the CPU: Intel Q9550
Model of the Video Card(s): EVGA 8800GT (x2 SLI)

Trying to get this stable, not looking to overclock like crazy, just want the system stable. Defaults to 1333 for both processor and memory speed.

I haven't had any real luck setting this up with this RAM. Can you let me know the settings I need to change to make this work?

    Thanks

    In BIOS,

    System Clocks

    CPU Freq - 3150
    FSB Ref Clock - 1800
    CPU Multiplier - 7

    FSB & Memory Config
FSB - Memory Clock Mode - Linked
FSB - Memory Ratio - Sync Mode
    FSB (QDR) - 1800

    Memory Timing Setting - Expert
    tCL - 9
    tRCD - 9
    tRP - 9
    tRAS - 27
    Command Per Clock - 2T

    System Voltages

EVGA VDroop Control - With VDroop
    CPU Core - 1.350V
    CPU FSB - 1.475V
    Memory - 1.65V
    nForce SPP - 1.42V
    nForce MCP - 1.55V

    Save and exit.

It takes voltage tuning and trial and error, to get the highest speed out of this setup.

    Thank you
