  • Can I expect 8 GB to meet specs on ASUS

MB is an ASUS P7P55D EVO
    RAM is F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH
    CPU is i5-750

I've read all the relevant previous posts, and it seems that this particular ram is the best one for this motherboard at 1600.

    Thanks

    TC

Would guess yes, it meets the mobos criteria, non-ECC, Unbuffered, etc. Do bear in mine the mobo considers 1600 as an OC RAM, so for full proper performance at the RAMs rated speed , you may have to OC the system a bit.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

Should not have an issue. You will need to properly tune voltages to be stable for 8GB at 1600.

Seems to work fine, can I assess stability from BIOS?

        Thanks for the reply

Ram is in. recognized as 8 GB, XMP on sets DRAM timing correctly (as far as I can tell)
Voltage is at 1.587. I won't have an operating system installed until tomorrow. Is there a way to test mem from BIOS?

You'll have to download memtest with another computer, then you can run that.

          Thank you
