  • 12800CL7D-4GBRH with ASUS P7P55D PRO BIOS Settings

    Hello!

I'm a complete newbie at configuring RAM Timings, and I was hoping to find a guide here that would tell me exactly what I need to set in my BIOS, but can't find one for my MB / RAM combo. Can anyone tell me the settings I need to change? I have upgraded my BIOS to v0606, (latest available through ASUS update).

    Any help appreciated!

RAM is F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH, MB is an ASUS P7P55D Pro.

    Thanks!

    Try these settings:

    AI Overclock Tuner - Manual
CPU Ratio Setting - 18.0 for 2.80GHz (can set to 20 for a little CPU overclock)
    BCLK Frequency - 160
    DRAM Frequency - DDR3-1600MHz

    Fixed Voltage - 1.30V
    IMC Voltage - 1.20V
    DRAM Voltage - 1.65V
    CPU PLL Voltage - 1.90V

    DRAM Timing Control (submenu)
    CAS Latency - 7
RAS to CAS Delay - 7
    RAS PRE Time - 7
    RAS ACT Time - 24

    DRAM Timing Mode - 2N
    All others can be AUTO

    Thank you

So sorry - my CPU is an "Intel Core i5 750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor" does that change anything?

      Thanks for the reply!

Only use CPU Clock Ratio 18 or 19, you may need a better CPU Cooler with 20.

Thanks! I have set the CPU Clock Ratio to 18 for the time being.

My CPU cooler is an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, Rev 2.

Your cooler is fine for some OCing so 20 (or more) shouldn't be a problem. Good choice.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
