  • 1.5v or 1.65V ddr3 for Gigabyte GA-P55 UD6

Hi I am wanting to run 4 sticks of ram in a Gigabyte GA-P55 UD6. I would like to get 1600 speed memory with some range of timings but I am unsure if I should go with 1.5 or 1.65v memory. I know I will most likely need to relax timings to get the 4 sticks to run.

    Thanks

You might consider the F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ (9-9-9-24 w/ voltage spread of 1.5 - 1.8), lots of room to play with voltage and timings (doesn't OC to bad either), otherwise I would lean to the 1.65 sets (Ripjaws)
    maybe the F3-12800CL8D-4GBRM.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

The G.Skill F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH memory package would definitely be the kit to go with. Performance will be great and given the good IC chips, worse comes to worst you run 1600 with CL8. The voltage is 1.65V, but as far as DDR3-1600 flexiblility, they are at the top. You may not even need to relax timings.

      Thank you
