  • F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH on a GA-P55-UD4P, BIOS Guide?

    I'm looking for a BIOS settings guide for 8GB worth of DDR3 Ripjaw memory.

    System Details:

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55-UD4P
    Memory: DDR3 1600 CL7 (7-7-7-24) 1.65V --> F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH
    CPU: Intel i7-860 socket 1156

    Specifically I see the BIOS has defaulted to 1.5V when the memory package says is 1.65V and the BIOS also defaults to 9-9-9-28 timing when its is actually 7-7-7-24. I could change just these two settings but it makes me wonder what else is not configured correctly out of the many other settings that appear in the Advanced Memory and Voltage sections. I would appreciate any guidance.

    I would be glad to post the settings options that appear in the BIOS screens if that would help.

    Regards.

    You'll want to change those manually to the rated specs, change command rate to 2T and will probably have to change tRFC, maybe tRC and possibly another voltage or two. Would help after manually making the changes mentioned if you could post screen shots of your BIOS settings.

    Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

      IMC Voltage needs to be 1.4V, otherwise with the settings you already listed, everything should be fine.

      Thank you
