  • Trident DDR 2000 2x2gb Timing Settings

    Here is my setup:
    ASUS Maximus Formula III
    Intel i7 860 - Overclocked to 3.8ghz, DDR 2000 (2:10 FSB/DRAM ratio).

I currently am using 1.65v and have it running at DDR 2000 7-9-7-20-1T (tRFC at 82). This setup is currently stable, but was wondering if I should change anything or push it a bit more. Maybe some recommendations on the rest of the timing settings, right now all of them are on auto.

Looks sweet! Could try lowering the tRFC a bit at a time (but watch stability (which is sorta what tRFC is for). Looks like you worked the timing individually as is, so you've prob already tried 7-8-7-20, 7-7-7-21, et al.

As said - looks tight, does if show much difference from stock (9-9-9-27) timings?

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

At 2000, that looks pretty good. You can push memory frequency up but you may need to relax timings. You can decrease timings but you may need to decrease frequency as well. Seems like you are at limits for that frequency/timing. You can try 7-8-7-24, that should be able to work.

      Thank you
