BSOD with MSI DKA790GX, Phenom 9850 BE and F2-8500CL5D-2GBPK

When I set the BIOS to enable EPP, I get BSOD while Windows Vista Ultimate tries to open. The BIOS recognizes the EPP but it doesn't appear to be stable enough to continue. I have downloaded the latest BIOS 1.20.

    It only runs at 400Mhz.

Just in case, I am running an MSI R4850 Video Card.

    Please help.

this motherboard is AMD 790GX chipset, we don't think it would support EPP
EPP is only supported on Nvidia chipset
and to run DDR2 1066, you'll need to set it manually to DDR2 1066 and add memory voltage to 2.1v
if it still can't work, please add the north bridge voltage too
    thanks

      thanks for your quick reply

Thank you for your quick reply.

I manually set the memory to 2.1 volts and the memory to 10666. Works like a champ.

      Thanks again.
