Falcon SSD and Bitlocker

Dear all,

any experiences about Falcon SSDs an Bitlocker? Is Bitlocker dramanous decraseing speed, do to its whole disk encryption nature?

Hi tes,

Can't say about bit-locker, but I have a Falcon 128GB and have PGP full drive encryption, which is similar technology to bitlocker.

My driver benchmark in HDTune dropped from 100MB/s to 35MB/s just because of my drive encryption. Access time dropped from 0.1ms to 0.2ms. Subjectively the drive slowed a bit but is still much more responsive than spindle drives in real like uses.

My computer is a Lenovo T61 Thinkpad.
