Unable to set custom RAM settings on GIGABYTE GA-Z170-HD3

My system:

GIGABYTE GA-Z170-HD3 with latest BIOS F6
Intel Core i5-6600K
2x8GB G.SKILL F4-3000C15D-16GVRB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960




I'm trying to set ram settings (multiplier, timings, voltage) at custom values but with no

success. After F10->yes and reboot everything is unchanged. Default settings and XMP

profile 1 works without problems. Is this a possible BIOS issue or some kind of

uncompatibility?

Why not use XMP Profile 1? That is best

Yes i do of course, but everything should work properly as expected howsoever.
