G.Skill Trident Z 8gb (2 x 4GB) 3200mhz cl16 1.35v no post on MSI X99 SLI Plus?

I cannot get my motherboard to post when this ram is in it either on its own 1 stick at a time or infact with any other known working ram in it too. Is it incompatible with my motherboard or is it dead? any help would be appreciated.

The RAM should at least boot.

Do you have the latest BIOS? Did you test one at a time to see if one can boot?

Hi I have now updated I was on 1.8 latest is 1.9 i have tried with 1 stick (both of them) but still nothing.

Is that a new build? Or has it worked before? It may be a defective motherboard. You can confirm with other RAM, but you already have two modules and generally that is enough

It is a new build but it is all running with 16gb Adata DDR4.

Can i RMA the sticks i think they must be faulty?
