I have an ASUS Deluxe and want to install the newest G.Skill modules running 3200 and CAS14.
I would like to run the 64GB kit, but think that it will not run reliably, if at all as I'm not seeing support for the newest chips with 64GB running only 4 sticks. What do you think: 64GB kit of the 16GB modules [F4-3200C14Q-64GVK]? I run CAD and analysis, so 64GB looks good.
Also, I'm looking for feedback on the likelihood that the 32GB kit (8GB x 4) [F4-3200C14Q-32GTZ or F4-3200C14Q-32GVK] running at 3200 and CAS 14 will run reliably. I don't see an issue on spec, except they are called dual-channel kits and are not posted as QVL for X99.
Thoughts?
Also, Ripjaw5 vs. TridentZ? Look exactly the same except headspreader. Is that true? Benefit of one over the other?
