  • Ripjaws V 32GB crashing Gigabyte Z170X Gaming G1 XMP

    Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB Model F4-3200C16Q-32GVK
    Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170X Gaming G1
    HD: Samsung SM951 M.2 256gb
    1050 Watt Seasonic PS.
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
    GPU: Sapphire R9 Fury

The memory functions in default mode at 2133mhz and my system/gaming/applications seem to run stable and normally.

When I enable XMP applications such as my web-browser constantly crashes and windows crashes every 10-30 minutes with random errors.

I ran memtest86+ and there were no errors reported on the memory.
Windows memory diagnostic tool reported no issues.

Another weird thing I left my computer running for 2 days at the default setting of 2133mhz and I came back to see windows error message telling me I was out of memory and to shut some programs down. The only application I had running besides windows basic services was firefox.. this shouldn't be using 32GB of memory :|

I have tried bios version F2, updated to F4 and now running the Beta version F5i.. XMP causes my computer to be unstable with all the 3 bios I have tested.

Can someone please assist me with my issues?

Did you boost the System Agent Voltage? May need to do that to support the memory controller. Sounds like a voltage needs some help to stabilize the system.
