  • F3-1600CL9D-4GBGT1 Not Running At Stock Speeds and Timming

Hello forum ,today I have just received my new F3-1600CL9D-4GBGT1 MemOrb Kit.
The sticks refused to run at stock speeds, and it was a great disapointment after 4 precious man hours to finally get them running at 1800Mhz with tighten CL8 and at 2.0V.
I am just about RMAing since the modules do not run as supposed.

Model of the motherboard:Evga 790i Ultra Tri 260 GTX in SLI configuration
    Model of the memory:F3-1600CL9D-4GBGT1
    Model of the CPU:QX-6700

I am posting the Bios Template anticpating your valuable input

Are you trying to reach DDR3-2000? You won't be able to make it because the FSB needs to be at 500 in order to do so, unless you unlink the FSB. You may simply want to do that as that typically seems to be more stable than linking them.

What type of issues are you having? They will not POST? Let me know and I will be able to further assist you.

    Thank you

      Dear Sirs,
Thank you very much for your intrest and the fast and kind reply, it is abvious that i have to clock FSB at 500 to get the 2000, but before that i have to test RAM unlinked at 2000 to determine that memmory wont hold me back went i Link ang Sync .The issue is that the F3-1600CL9D-4GBGT1 memmory is holding me here since the sticks do not pass the memtest at this speed nor at 1900 !!!!
The test is conducted on the fast black memory banks of the 790i Ultra.During the first instalation of the first stick with Default Bios Settings the system booted up but after i entered speed timmings voltages i was unable to reboot and i had to hard reset The second boot was succeful. The Computer is powered by a Turbo_Coll PSU at 1200W SLI certified and currents and voltages have never been a problem.I would appreciate your valuble input, but pls give a reason why those sticks refuse to run at their stock speeds? I am using the memtest v.2.1.1
      Thanks once again

Most of your timings are wrong, so of course the memory will not run. If you are unsure of what the timing should be, leave it on AUTO.

Set your Advanced Timings to AUTO, they are too far out. Also your basic timings need to be adjusted.

        tCL (CAS Latency): 8
        tRCD:8
        tRP: 8
        tRAS: 21 NOT 8

Advanced Timings should be close to this.

        tRRD: [4]
        tRC: [30]
        tWR: [12]
        tWTR: [4]
        tFAW: [24]
        tREF: [7.7]

We tested this memory on an EVGA 790i motherboard with SPP 1.4v and MCP 1.6v. memory at 1.9v DDR3 2000 CL9-9-9-18-2T unlinked FSB 1333, memory 2000 and passed memtest 500%.

        Thank you
