Hello,
I've bought 4 years ago a G.Skill Kit Extreme2 2 x 2 Go PC6400 PK when building my own PC. I have faced some issue regarding installation and had to raise voltage +0,2V to get good performance from the kit (thanks to the forum).
Since the beginning of the week I am trying to install a new linux distribution, but I have several issues. I then tryed to perform a MemTest86 test, andI was very surprised about the result : a large amount of error in test #7.
Here a picture of the screen, number of errors was still rising :
So, my question. Which conclusion can be done, is Memtest reliable ? Are there some other tests I should do ? Does it mean that there is an hardware issue here ? or can customizing of some parameters solve the issue ?
