  • Overclocking G.SKILL F3-17000CL9Q 2133

I have been playing around with some oc timings for my ripjaws 2133z ram and have managed to run them at 2400 with stock volts 1.65 and timings of 10 11 11 24 2T.Ran prime overnight and found no mem errors. I then switched the command rate to 1t and ran a prime test and it showed a error, hardware fail in about 1 minute. When I did a aida64 mem and cache test 1T gave the fastest best bench. Is there any way to make 1T work at 2400.Also, if anyone has any timings and settings I can try for 2133-2400 up to 2600 I would greatly appreciate them.

If CR=1T fails at these timings and voltages, there is two ways out:

    1) loosen other timings
    2) increase vdimm (+ maybe system voltages VCCSA/VCCIO)

There is no guarantee for stability however, like always with overclocking. For 2600 start with 10-12-12-31 or 11-12-12-31 and loosen the subs if needed. If that fails, depending on the debug code, there are different answers on how to go on... unless you get 23 = cpu-imc limit, then it is time to go back to 2400.
