    256 falcon dead

I had the same issue on my 128 Falcon and flashed the firmware using the jumper. FYI the jumper makes the drive show up as the controller, thus allowing the flash upgrade to see the drive. Once I flashed it with the latest, the drive was back (all data gone). I have had no further issues since. I think it was just a firmware glitch. I was running Windows 7 on the drive, so it could have been a foul trim command.

I would try this first before RMA.

Try the firmware update or wiper.exe command to see if that will work for you. If not, please visit our website at http://www.gskill.com/rma.php for complete RMA procedures. You will need to download and complete the RMA Form then email it to ustech@gskill.com for an RMA number to return the defective memory sticks. If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to contact us and we will be more than glad to assist you.

      Thank you
