I cant set up 1866 or 2133. If i dont touch nothing the rams sets 1333, and if i set 2t 9-9-9-28-37 1.65v work well in 1600mhz.

    Without touch anything 1333:

    Now 1600:

is the best advice, anything above 1866 is a real crapshoot with any amd setup

@Trunks: Does the Biostar A85S3 not support XMPs?

Almost all FM2 mainboards from the major players have some kind of XMP enabling setting in UEFI (e.g. ASUS D.O.C.P., Gigabyte E.O.C.P.).

Maybe you should at least try to read it yourself?

I will give you a small hint: MEMORY CLOCK MODE

I read it, dont you read what i said?

I said "if i set 2t 9-9-9-28-37 1.65v work well in 1600mhz" so i put that in MANUAL MODE.

I put in XMP mode and NO POST. No boot.

All you said was "I don't know...".

It took me just one minute to download the manual, find the MEMORY CLOCK MODE setting and how to enable AMP/XMP.

So, that answers question number one. Have your tried manually putting in all the timings and subtimings according to the XMP? (including tRC, tRRD, tWR, tWTR, RTP, tFAW, tRCF, tWCL)

I don't know all the XMP timings of your kit, so you have to look them up yourself (e.g. with Aida64*). Just changing the four main timings probably won't do and there might be some smaller adjustments needed. Intel Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP) are Intel specific after all.

*you find it at Motherboard>SPD and it should like this:

              Extreme Memory Profile
              @ 1066 MHz 9-11-9-28 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / XX-XXX-X-X-XX-X-X-XX (RC-RFC-CR-RRD-WR-WTR-RTP-FAW)

                Yes, i tried that.

                This is the XMP: 9-11-9-28 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 46-110-2-7-16-8-8-32-11 (RC-RFC-CR-RRD-WR-WTR-RTP-FAW-WCL)

                This is the STD (now): 9-9-9-28 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 37-88-5-12-6-6-24 (RC-RFC-RRD-WR-WTR-RTP-FAW)

I don't know about a tWCL that high, but if these exact timings don't work anyway when set manual, i'd try it with these changes next:

                  9-11-9-28 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 52-160-2-7-16-8-8-28-8 (RC-RFC-CR-RRD-WR-WTR-RTP-FAW-WCL)

Also remember to set Vdimm @ 1.60V.

I set that numbers, but reboot with the old timmings (1600).

But the only numbers i can set are these:

tcmd CL RCD RP RAS RC RFC WR WTR RRD RTP

And the vdimm is AUTO or 1.65, i cant set 1.6

From the CPU have to change something???

                      Then maybe try: 2T-9-11-9-28-52-160-8-16-7-8

You really cannot manually set Vdimm to 1.60V? That is kinda weird.

You might need to fix your Vnb at 1.25/1.275V, but i never had to do this with my FM2 setups until i hit DDR3-2400 (4x AMD A10-5800K, 2x Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4).

You need to use a different motherboard if you want to use high speed RAM. Otherwise, you can use the RAM with lower frequency and timings. It can perform just as fast. If you change the RAM, you are just downgrading to chips not as good.

                              Thank you
