I AM TRYING TO CONFIGURE MY BIOS SO THESE 2-4gb STICKS RUN AT THE RATED 1600mHZ.

Motherboard: ASUS Maximus Extreme (BIOS 1302, Latest BIos)
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit
CPU: QX9650
System is water cooled

System is currently running but at 333MHZ.

I have tried multiple setting in BIOS based on research on the Internet, but nothing is working. I have tried XMP, does not work. In my Bios I do not have the option to select PC3-12800, though I have read others have that option. Once I am able to get this RAM running at rated speed I would like to overclock system then. Any and all help will be highly appreciated. Thank you

Are the sticks in slots 1-3? (I believe blue on your mobo). Will need FSB at a min of 400 to run 1600. Timings and DRAM voltage to specs on package. May have to raise NB Voltage about + 0.06 from stock.
