F2-8500CL5D-2GBPK settings please

Hi,

I am building a system, parts:

- EVGA NF750i SLI
- BFG 9800GX2
- Linksys Wireless Card
- Power Supply Rosewill 950w
- Intel Q9450 Quad Core

Operating System:

- Vista Home Pre.

MEMORY:

- G.Skill "F2-8500CL5D-2GBPK"

******I have the unit built, but it shows it as 800 only, without a option to make it 1066******


I want the best/safest setting if possible, would I need to do anything to the unit.

you'll need to set it in BIOS manually to DDR2 1066 and add the memory voltage to 2.1v
for the timing, you can keep it auto or 5-5-5-15
both are fine
