  • Ram upgrade

Hi I have finally decided I might upgrade my ram.
    My current mobo is a P53E Premium Wifi-ap @n
CPU is an intel core 2 quad Q9550
My current ram is fine at 4gb but I'd like to upgrade to 8 GB I know my PC specs are out of date but she runs really well pretty much for everything I use her for. I just know 8 GB would make er run smoother. My question is would these ram sticks work? Or am I too out of date? And if so Is there any that would?

Newegg is having a 15% off sale on RAM By the end of the day 9/8/12
So hopefully I can get a reply soon!

    Thanks.

Unless they've made some changes to the BIOS believe your mobo supports up to 8GB, but in a 4x2GB config - might look at these, anyway the sets up through 1600, anything higher might be more of an OC than you want to get into

Ya any higher would mean a lot of OC I'm not too comfortable with that still. I had read last year, when I was originally gonna upgrade, that the MOBO had a hard time with 4 sticks sometimes, something to do with the slots. That's why I thought of the 2 stick versions. But hey things are different.
