  • 10600CL8-4GBH with P5Q3 doesn't work

    G.Skill Extreme Series HK 4Go ( 2*2 ) PC10600 Dual Channel F3-10600CL8-4GBHK with Asus P5Q3 with last bios 0707 doesn't work properly :

    memtest+ detect error.

    It work's with only 1 memory a time (no memtest error with good timing - 1333Mhz auto(CL9,9,9,24) or CL8,8,8,21) (socket A1,A2, B1orB2)

    But if I put the 2 memory, It failed (windows BSOD and memtest+ error - 1333Mhz auto(CL9,9,9,24) or CL8,8,8,21) - A1 B1 or A2B2 sockets).

DRAM voltage from 1.5V to 1.7V

Could you please give me good setting to able me enjoy 4GB.

hmm, drop memory to 1.6v. Add the CL8-8-8-21. (Check what's tWR, tRFC, tRC if such) and use A1 & B1 slots, if there's 'performance level' drop that +1t from what ever the original 'Auto' setting is.

Anyway, gonna need more information on this one, if everything is on 'Auto' what does the CL lines say what the timings are set to. Just take those down and write in here when both sticks are on board.

Thanks AMD/ATI for banning legit customers who asks questions of your screw-ups:

Try manually setting your memory in BIOS for DRAM frequency, timing, and voltage. What is your FSB Frequency? If possible, post some screen shots so we can see if you are missing anything.
